The 601 W. Monroe building will be a new Class A, highly efficient, world class LEED Silver certified building located in the heart of the West Loop. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2012. The 26 story, 470,000 rentable square foot (“RSF”) building will include 450 public parking stalls at the base on seven levels with 18 stories of offices above with 9.5 foot ceilings and 26,000 square foot floors. The 601 West Monroe building is perfectly located just 1 1/2 blocks from Union Station, Ogilvie Transportation Center and the expressways. The building is surrounded by low to mid-sized buildings allowing for exceptional unobstructed views on the City.
